1. Use of Service

You may only use Preflight in compliance with these terms and all applicable laws. You agree not to misuse our services, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with our systems.

2. Accounts

To access features, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and secure.

3. Payments

If you purchase a paid subscription, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorise Paddle, our Merchant of Record, to charge you for the subscription.

Payments are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions.

All new accounts are eligible for a no-obligation 5-day free trial of the service. We do require payment information to be provided during the subscription activation process to enable access. However, payment will not be taken until the 5-day trial has finished.

If you don't wish to be billed, your subscription may be cancelled at any time by managing your subscription from our payment providers customer portal. This can be accessed via the "Manage Organisation" settings of your account, or from the subscription emails sent by our payment provider.

Indiviuals who have previously accessed a free trial of our service are not eligible for further free trials. Immediate payment for access to the service will be required in such circumstances during account activation.

4. Refunds

All refunds are subject to terms within Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions.

5. Intellectual Property

Preflight owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the services, including our software, documentation, content, and branding, except for any content owned by users. You retain all rights to any content you upload, submit, or test using our platform.

By using the service, you grant Preflight a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable licence to use your name, logo, and trademarks solely to identify you as a customer or user of the service in our website, marketing materials, and promotional content.

Such use shall not imply any sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership beyond your use of the service. You may revoke this permission at any time by providing written notice, and we will remove such use within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Privacy & Security

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy & Security Policy . By using Preflight, you also agree to that policy.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Preflight reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue services at any time.

8. Abuse & Termination

You must not use Preflight in any way that is abusive, unlawful, harmful, or disruptive to others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at our sole discretion, including in cases of misuse, breach of these terms, or suspected abuse. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Preflight shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or through our service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, and the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
