We capture all our email screenshots from real apps running on hardware we manage.
Some email testing services fake the rendering of a few popular email apps. Choose a product that uses real apps and hardware to ensure screenshots are accurate and reflective of real world viewing.
If you run a Preflight QA test today, we will capture screenshots using the following email apps and versions:

For desktop email clients, we capture a single screenshot at a resolution of 1440x8000. Any content beyond this will be clipped.
